Ada Asafotu-Fiami Festival promises excitement

The Asafotu-Fiami is the festival of the people of Ada in the Dangme East District of Greater-Accra Region. The festival, which features a rich cultural display, is celebrated annually in the first week of every August in Big-Ada, under the auspices of the Paramount Chief of the Ada Traditional Area. The festival attracts over thousands of people from all walks of life to come together to enjoy the rich cultural display and hospitality of the people of Big Ada, the traditional capital. As this year's celebration nears, Paramount Chief of the Area Nene Akuaku III is calling on the inhabitants of Ada , well-wishers as well as people from the Diaspora to come and be part of this year’s Asafotufiam festival.
