  Ada Youngsters Charity Foundation has supported kids and young ones by having the Easter Love Feast and made its maiden donation exercise to the 320 children at Big-Ada, in Ada East District of the Greater Accra Region on Easter Sunday. The Ada Youngsters Charity Foundation donated items, such as exercise books, pens, pencils and erasers. The kids were also served food and drinks plus other goodies. Miss Antoinette Nacco Otumfuo and Mr. Emmanuel Teye Gbadah Wussah, founders of the charity group, said the mission of Ada Youngsters Charity Foundation is to help the young ones to excel in any good thing they wish to achieve. “The vision of the group is to guide, patch, motivate, inspire and equip the young ones with the norms and values that will guide their steps toward a brighter future,” Miss Otumfuo said.   One Big Family, the foremost youth organisation for young persons of Ada origin, held a two-day unity gathering dubbed ‘Ignite Love for a Better Tomorrow’ that brought together members from different locations to focus on improving relationships and communication within the group. Members expressed their concerns and discussed the importance of self-confidence and good communication in all aspects of life. They also emphasized the need to avoid allowing politics to divide the group and to demonstrate leadership and unity in all of their actions. The Youth Development Chief of the Ada Traditional Area, Nene Tetteh Kakepeemi I, praised the group for their love and unity and advised them to support each other in achieving their common goals. He also cautioned against petty conflicts and jealousy within the group and encouraged them to respect and strengthen their bonds as a family.   Over the weekend, Ada Gems Network (AGN) made a trip to the Ada West district, in the communities of Anyamam and Akplabanya respectively, to create awareness on breast cancer and empower young girls to take charge of their lives. These were done via house-to-house visits and community group discussions. All across the world, women in leadership positions are hampered by numerous obstacles, including pervasive and subtle or blatant attitudes and beliefs that women are unequal to men at home, work and in government.
