ASA Savings and Loans presents scholarships to 20 students
ASA Savings and Loans Limited has presented scholarship package worth GH¢8,000 to 20 needy but brilliant children in primary, Junior High School (JHS) and Senior High School (SHS) at their Maamobi '2' Business Centre premise, in Accra as part of its educational support programme. The 20 beneficiaries are made up of nine primary pupils, 10 JHS pupils and one SHS student from different schools. The ASA’s scholarship scheme and educational support programme forms part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities taken to support its operational areas. According to the Newtown Area Manager of ASA Savings and Loans, Mr Emmanuel Osae Addo, without the women in business taking loans and paying on time, business would not have been where it is. So, with support to over 150,000 women in business, it has been a privilege to also support as CSR to the society.
