Notable among these safety functions are included: Blind-Spot Collision Warning (BCW), which warns the driver of approaching vehicles in the blind spot area of the side mirrors; Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), a front view camera that detects lane markers and road edges, thus  helping prevent unintentional lane departures; and the Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) has a front view camera and front radar in place to warn the driver of imminent collisions with other vehicles, or even certain types of objects; and if necessary apply emergency braking to prevent collision.

The Palisade is also loaded with six airbags at vital positions, has an AVM equipped with multiple cameras that gives a 360 degree viewing of the car which helps in parking, as well as a Safe Exit Assist (SEA) that locks rear doors when someone wants to open a rear door but the car senses an approaching vehicle or object.

In terms of convenience, the car is fitted with multiple USB charging-ports to enable the rear occupants charge their phones and other electronic devices. It also has a 10-way driver adjustable seat, wireless charging pad, one-touch button and walk-in bottom, as well as push-to-start and keyless entry systems.
