Ada launches Manchester United Supporters Club



Big-Ada and Ada-Foah, through the lead watch Mr. Odoi Julius, a citizen of Ada has launched Manchester United Supporters Club in Ada East, Greater Accra Region.

Forming a supporters’ club of the great club in the world, Manchester United; at Ada, is with the aim of nurturing unity and development among the supporters of the club and to impact the Ada community.
The two-day activities to mark the official launch of the supporters’ club on the 1st and 2nd of July included dawn jogging from Ada-Foah to Big-Ada, live On-Air launch interactions and discussion at Radio Ada and a fans durbar at Freedom Cafe, Ada-Foah.

At the launching, the sitting Chairman of the Manchester United Supporters’ Club, Mr. Odoi Julius, made a statement that the main aim of the club is to foster unity, development, volunteerism and communal spirit in the group of youth who are fans of the Manchester United Football Club.

He continued that though Manchester United as a football club is based in UK, it has managed to bring smile and pride to the faces of its supporters worldwide and the newly formed supporters’ club is meant to replicate same by impacting the Ada community.

Odoi used the opportunity to encourage all stakeholders of football fraternity in Ghana to manage the administration of football well in other to build a competitive brand which is worth associating to.

"..and to all who feel we're unpatriotic by supporting clubs outside the country, know that no single individual will love to associate with a damaged brand. If Kotoko and Hearts of Oak are well managed and branded, we shall come to support them too," he concluded.
