Oyenii donates to Korle Bu Child Health

 



Ghana’s premier food vending app of the kind, Oyenii, which started operations in the country this year, bringing convenience to corporate Ghana donated about 80 packs of assorted meals and 30 coupons; which can be used anytime to purchase food, to the Korle Bu Child Health Department during the Eid ul-Fitr day.

The donations was to mothers on admission with children having cancers because the mothers have neglected their dietary needs as their children are bed ridden, and this forms part of the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) to show love to the communities, was aimed at ensuring that children with certain illness and sicknesses shouldn’t just eat anything but a nutritious meal to keep them healthy and also for mothers to meet their nutritional needs after a long day of care with a patient.



Eugenia Boafi Donkor, a Senior Health Nurse at the Child Health Department, receiving the items on behalf of the hospital expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Oyenii foods for remembering the sick and needy at a time like this when children with cancer and other ailments are waiting upon God to restore good health and shower His blessings upon them.

She further thanked management of Oyenii for the kind gesture rendered.

Ephraim Teye Spines, a Senior Executive of Oyenii, speaking to the media on the side-lines of the presentation activity emphasised that the core mission of the brand is to provide customers with nutritious and convenient meals; and it deems it fit to provide the Child Health Department of the Korle Bu Hospital which forms part of their core mandate to give some of its products as a means of solidarity while the kids and continue to heal.

Head of Sales and Marketing, Hannah Quansah, disclosed that the new food vending app which is available on web and also for Android (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.oyenii.mobile.customer) and IOS (https://apps.apple.com/gh/app/oyenii/id1554692993) users can be accessed through existing gadgets including smartphones, tablets and even Personal Computers (PC) and it’s expected to offer users healthy food on demand.

“Again, our on-demand food app that is hitting the market swiftly, it is only making available healthy yet nutritious foods to the market and these are tried and tested recipes by health and nutrition professionals. So, we are making good food available anytime it’s in need through the power of technology,” she stated.

She said the Oyenii app is very intelligent and user friendly whilst offering customers easier navigation and multiple means of payment.

Finally, Oyenii App forms part of commitment to making systems smarter using the best emerging technologies to solve localised and continental problems, thereby bridging the gap between traditional systems and the modern way of doing things.
