Insurance Brokers Association of Ghana elects executives




The Insurance Brokers Association of Ghana (IBAG), formerly known as GIBA, has elected executives to run affairs of the association as council members for 2020/2021.

The former executives were all re-elected unopposed except for the General Secretary position where incumbent Mrs. Akua Dubois did not contest. She was replaced by a very vibrant candidate, Ms. Bianca Noshie – Managing Director of Insurance Management Services located at Asylum Down, Accra.

The other executives re-elected at the event in Accra, included Mrs. Lena Adu-Kofi – Managing Director, Safety Insurance Brokers – Accra, as President, Mr. Shaibu Ali – Chief Executive Officer – KEK Re, as Vice President.

The rest are – Mr. Stephen Kwarteng Yeboah – Managing Director – M&G Insurance Brokers, located at the plush North Ridge area, as Treasurer.

Mr. Henry Kom – Managing Director, Asterix Insurance Brokers, as Assistant General Secretary and Dennis Guddah – Managing Director of Cerris Insurance Brokers as Assistant Treasurer.

Mr. Nathan Adu, the immediate past President will continue to serve as an ex-officio member of the council.

The Ford Ranger has received the highest award for quality in the midsize pickup segment in the US; according to the 2020 JD Power Initial Quality Study (IQS) report. The Initial Quality Study, now in its 34th year, is based on responses from 87,282 purchasers and lessees of new 2020 model year vehicles in the US who were surveyed after 90 days of ownership. The study took place from February through to May 2020. The JD Power Initial Quality Study (IQS) takes an updated look at the problems owners are having with their new vehicles, including those related to new technologies.
