Serene Insurance opens Ho Branch




Mr. Eric Seddy Kutortse, Founder and Chairman of the First Sky Company has assured the general public that Serene Insurance Company which is a member of the Group will fulfill the new minimum capital requirement by the National Insurance Commission (NIC) – outlined by the regulator, one clear year stipulated by the regulator.

Mr Kutortse pronounced this during the inauguration of Serene Insurance’s Ho Branch office last week Thursday. He however revealed that the company will soon commission another branch in Kumasi by January, 2020 and subsequently two other branches in Takoradi and Koforidua respectively.

The founder pointed out that, the decision to bring Serene Insurance services closer to the doorsteps of the people testament to its commitment to overcome all barriers to the economic upliftment of the people.

According to him, Serene Insurance was licensed in April 2018 and subsequently inaugurated in September of the same year, to underwrite General Insurance Business.

The founder pointed out that Serene Insurance has been incorporated out of a genuine desire to see a paradigm shift in the manner in which insurance business is conducted in Ghana, and to stand out as “The New Face of Insurance”, not only by redefining public perception through prompt payment of legitimate claims, but by introducing a service culture that places the client at the heart of everything the company does.

Mr. Christopher Boadi-Mensah, Chief Executive Officer of Serene Insurance Company revealed that at the inaugural ceremony of the company, he pledges to make the vision of the Executive Group Chairman of the First Sky Group, Eric Seddy Kutortse to build a world class Insurance Company that will redefined the Insurance landscape of Ghana a reality.

After a year of sound operation, the company has not only succeeded in redefining public perceptions and positively influencing the delivering of Insurance Service in Ghana, but has also become the preferred Insurer of many.
